Life Science: Digging for Earthworms.
No, they're no just misbehaving in the yard (but it doesn't help that we're renters). We're actually going to study them after they're collected. You know, the Annelida phylum, the compost thing, the worm behavior. The fun goes on and on with these babies.
Chemistry: (love how we can do this in our jammies?)
How the basic elements in baking powder (carbon, oxygen, among others) create the molecule carbon dioxide, which makes baked goods rise. Muffins with baking powder vs. muffins without baking powder a.k.a., hockey pucks.
Mmmm. Chemistry never tasted so good!

It must be killing your Mom to see these pictures of the boy's hair! It's getting so long. You are brave to post them here where she can see. :) They are looking really cute though. It suits both of them well.
